Inventory Management

Warehouse Transfer

Transfer any number of existing inventory items from one warehouse to any existing warehouse(s)!

• Simply specify the originating warehouse and as many destination warehouses as required.
• InBridge assigns a transfer number for easy tracking and reporting through the existing receipt functionality of BusinessVision.
• A warehouse transfer report automatically prints after the transfer has been processed.
• Use the ‘Transfer All Parts’ option to move all available quantities between two or more warehouses.
• Transfers can be assigned a description in the available field for easy reference when reviewing transfers.
• Transfer parts using the alternate part numbers by choosing the ‘Transfer Part Using Alternate’ option.
• Save and recall transfers in progress.
• Import transfers from Excel.
• Maintain an audit trail of serial number transfers.

Inventory Replication

Avoid time-consuming multi-warehouse entry of new parts. Enter parts once in BusinessVision and then replicate them to as many other warehouses as desired.

• Inventory parts can be replicated in groups (ranges) to facilitate multiple replications.
• Parts can be replicated to one or multiple warehouses at the click of a button.
• Only those warehouses not already containing a specified part are affected by the replication.
• InBridge presents the parts to be created, and allows you to change the sales department, selling, and/or cost price for each warehouse.
• Option to copy the costs and location from source warehouse.

Inventory Utilities

InBridge supplies full access to modify various inventory details such as price levels in warehouses and matching the average cost to the current cost in a specified warehouse!

• Change the price and price level of a part in all warehouses at the click of a button.
• Choose a warehouse to match all items’ average costs to the current costs in your BusinessVision data.
• Modify a specified part’s current cost and average cost to be displayed with the part’s other inventory details in BusinessVision.
• Change selling prices or increase selling prices by a percentage for a specified price level within a warehouse.
• Modify product codes and descriptions of inventory items in all warehouses.
• All price changes made to parts through InBridge are realized in your BusinessVision data, and can be viewed in the ‘Inventory’ module.
• Use Wildcards (*,?) in any of the utilities to affect the properties of a range of parts in all warehouses.

Color/Size Inventory Generation

Use the ‘Color/Size Inventory Generation’ module to create the inventory items you need to represent all the colors and sizes of a particular SKU number – at the click of a button!

• Items are created in BusinessVision with the attributes of the base style that you have entered in the ‘Inventory’ module, including product code, sales department, etc.
• Copy sizes and/or colors from existing style lines.
• Create templates in BusinessVision for common size/color charts to be used by InBridge.
• Ensure consistency by defining the composition of part numbers, including the length of acceptable characters for each code, characters separating ‘Style-Color‘ and ‘Color-Size‘, and the components to be used in the description of the part.
• InBridge attaches the color and/or size of a part to the description of each relevant SKU number.

InBridge tells you how many parts are being generated in BusinessVision and asks for confirmation before processing them; if a particular part number does not already exist in BusinessVision, InBridge automatically creates the required part number(s) and details in BusinessVision’s ‘Inventory‘ module.

Lots

InBridge is fully equipped to create ‘Lots’ for parts on your purchase orders. Track and recall multiple inventory items easily and efficiently!

• Browse from all available purchase orders to create ‘lots’ for specified inventory items.
• Fill in the fields provided at the bottom of the module to specify the lot number and quantity.
• InBridge attaches the lot numbers you define to the original inventory part number to create new, unique part numbers.
• Have the ‘lots’ generated in BusinessVision’s ‘Inventory’ module, and the purchase orders updated at the click of a button.
• Original inventory items only remain visible on the purchase order if the entire amount of the original item has not been designated to ‘lots’.
